125x45x2000 Blank Forks

The weight of a single 125x45x2000 Blank Forks is 104 kg. The section is 125 mm wide, 45 mm thick, and two meters long. This blank fork is specially designed for the weight iron counterweights used for segmental welding of ship hulls in shipyards. The nominal weight of each fork is 104 kilograms, which facilitates quick stacking and counting by the workshop crane and is used to prevent thermal deformation during the welding process of thin plates. The material is ordinary carbon structural steel Q235B. The surface is shot blasted and rust-removed and then coated with high-viscosity asphalt primer to adapt to long-term wind and rain in the open-air slipway and segmented yard. A pair of stacked positioning angles are welded to each end of the fork surface. The angle steel is 30 mm high. When multiple forks are stacked up and down, they will automatically snap into the positioning grooves of the lower forks to prevent slippage and collapse.

 

 

Two semi-circular grooves with a depth of 5 mm are processed along the entire length of both sides of the fork back to facilitate automatic centering when lifting from the bottom of the nylon sling. The actual weighing data is sprayed on the end face of each fork with white paint, accurate to 0.5 kg, and the number range of the batch of weights is marked to facilitate on-site classification and loading by weight. The fork tips and fork backs are both rounded to R10 to avoid scratching the base material when being dragged on the surface of the hull segments. The packaging is in bulk bare parts, with waste sleepers padded at the bottom. A single piece weighing 104 kg can be assembled and unloaded using a shipyard gantry crane or a truck crane with an electromagnetic suction cup. This specification mainly serves the welding assembly stations of large shipyards, steel structure bridge prefabrication yards and offshore platform construction bases, and is used as temporary weights and segmented counterweights.
