Laser cutting is a thermal process that utilizes a high energy density laser beam to precisely cut materials.

    By focusing the laser through an optical lens, a spot with a diameter of less than 0.1mm is formed on the surface of the material, instantly melting, vaporizing or ablating the material, while blowing away the slag with high-pressure-assisted nitrogen gas to form a smooth cut. Its essence is non-contact, high-precision digital molding technology.

Laser cutting is mainly divided into three types: fiber laser as the mainstream solution for metal cutting, high efficiency processing of stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum and low energy consumption; CO₂ laser for non-metallic materials, such as wood and acrylic, can also cut part of the metal, but slower; ultraviolet laser specializes in ultra-fine field, especially good at semiconductors and circuit boards, microfabrication.

1.Material Clamping

Place the plate on the cutting table and fix it using vacuum adsorption or magnetic clamps, calibrate the edge datum, the offset error should be ≤ 0.1mm.

2.Cutting sheets

The laser pulse penetrates the starting point, with soft perforation for thin plates to prevent splashing, and progressive penetration for thick plates to avoid bursting.

9.Initial Inspection of Cutting Quality

Visually inspect cut surface finish and burrs, spot check critical dimensions using calipers, and record deviation values.
