100x45x2200 Blank Forks

100x45x2200 Blank Forks weigh 92kg each. The cross section is 100 mm wide, 45 mm thick, and 2.2 meters long. This blank fork is forged with two-way pre-bending. It arches upward by about 18 mm in its natural state. After the user completes the milling of the hook groove and positioning hole, the fork gradually returns to straightness under its own gravity and subsequent tempering treatment, effectively offsetting the stress deformation introduced by the processing. The final straightness of the finished product is better than one thousandth. A 60 mm long process chuck is reserved at both ends of each 92-kg blank. The surface of the chuck is rough ground. When clamped in a horizontal machining center, there is no need to make a table for alignment. The outer circle of the chuck is directly used for positioning. After completion, it can be cut off by wire cutting. The preparation time for single-piece processing is shortened by 20 minutes. The front end of the fork tip is welded in advance with a 6 mm thick cobalt-based tungsten carbide composite layer with a hardness of 62HRC.

 

 

Users do not need to perform wear-resistant treatment and can be directly used for handling abrasive materials. The blank material is 35CrMoV, and each batch is provided with three sample rods from the same furnace for users to retest the mechanical properties. The surface is coated with conductive epoxy anti-rust primer with a resistivity of less than 100 ohms, which facilitates the contact probe of CNC machine tools to automatically identify the edges of the workpiece. The packaging adopts a vertically suspended damping and anti-shock frame. The 92kg weight is matched with the rolling guide rails and counterweight balancer on the frame. A single person can smoothly pull the fork out of the frame and slide it to the processing platform.
