150x35x1300 Blank Forks

150x35x1300 Blank Forks weigh 73kg each. This blank fork is specially designed as an anti-deformation counterweight in the welding construction of large storage tanks to prevent angular deformation of the tank wall plates due to uneven heat input during longitudinal seam welding. The weight of each 73 kilogram unit is calibrated piece by piece by the floor scale, and the error does not exceed plus or minus 0.3 kilograms. The actual value is marked with a steel stamp on the end face. The material is ordinary carbon structural steel Q235B. The surface is not painted and the hot-rolled oxide scale is retained. Welding spatter is not easy to adhere.

 

 

A set of lifting holes with a diameter of 22 mm are drilled every 300 mm on the fork surface. Using shackles and wire ropes, multiple forks can be hung on temporary hangers on the outside of the tank wall. They can be combined into different pressure levels of 146, 219, 292 kg, etc. as needed, and pre-tightening force is applied layer by layer. Two shallow grooves with a depth of 2 mm are pressed on the back of the fork along the length direction, which serve as the positioning reference line to ensure that the counterweights are evenly arranged along the direction of the weld. The fork tips and fork backs are rounded to R10 to avoid indentations on the tank wall surface.

 

 

A unique number is sprayed on the side of each fork with white paint, making it easier for welders to group and lift according to the welding process card. With a single weight of 73 kg and a lifting hole, it can be smoothly lifted to the tank welding operation platform using a truck crane or manual hoist at the construction site. This specification mainly serves the on-site manufacturing and safety engineering of large crude oil storage tanks, LNG storage tanks and metallurgical silos, and is used as a flexibly movable welded anti-deformation counterweight module.
