Pipe brackets metal uses high-quality carbon structural steel as the base material, and uses an integral bending process to form a closed rectangular cross-section, which significantly enhances the bracket's ability to resist torsion. According to material mechanics calculations, the torsion constant of the closed section is approximately 2.7 times higher than that of an open channel steel bracket of the same thickness. When withstanding the torque generated by the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipe, the angular deformation does not exceed 0.03 degrees per meter, while the deformation of the open section bracket under the same torque is approximately 0.1 degree per meter. Salt spray and heat and humidity alternating tests showed that after eighty cycles of condensation water testing, there was no matrix corrosion on the surface or welding points of the bracket, and its corrosion resistance level reached level 9.8.
This metal pipe bracket also provides a clear solution to the common creep relaxation problem in high-temperature pipeline applications. After being continuously loaded with the rated working load in a constant temperature chamber of 350 degrees Celsius for one thousand hours, the measured deflection increase of the bracket was only 0.08 mm, while the deflection of the ordinary cold-formed bracket increased by 0.3 mm under the same temperature and duration conditions. In response to the installation requirements of polyethylene-lined pipes, the inner wall of the bracket is equipped with a PTFE pad with a width of 25 mm. The measured sliding friction coefficient is 0.05, which effectively reduces the resistance during axial displacement of the pipe. In addition, according to the acceptance summary of three large-scale petrochemical projects, no pipe gallery using this type of bracket had an elevation deviation exceeding the standard due to bracket deformation during the pressure test stage, and the elevation pass rate increased from 88% to 99.2%.
