100x40x1000 ITA/FEM/ISO Forks

The net weight of a single 100x40x1000 ITA/FEM/ISO fork is 42 kg. The cross-section width is 100 mm, the thickness is 40 mm, and the length is one meter. Unlike the thinner 35mm series, the 40mm thickness provides a higher margin of impact resistance and is suitable for handling heavy goods with sharp edges such as engine blocks, machine tool bases or bundles of steel pipes. The product simultaneously meets the three major interface standards of ITA, FEM, and ISO, which means that the same fork can be directly interchanged on forklift slats of different brands in Europe, the United States, Japan, etc., without any transition adapters. Each piece of 42-kilogram steel is formed by direct ring rolling from a continuous casting billet. The metal streamlines in the hook area are distributed in a concentric circle, and the fatigue life is 20% longer than that of traditional forging. The length of one meter avoids excessive overhang, so that the forklift does not scratch the goods on both sides when turning in the container or in a narrow lane.

 

The fork tips undergo negative pressure tempering immediately after ultrasonic quenching. The hardened layer has no obvious brittle boundary and is not easy to crack when hitting hard ground. There are three longitudinal oil grooves in the middle of the fork surface, which can discharge residual water stains or cutting oil at the bottom of the cargo and prevent the slippery pallet from lateral deviation when lifting. The surface treatment adopts zinc chromium coating, which has a salt spray resistance time of more than one thousand hours and is suitable for coastal warehouses or ship manufacturing sites. Each pair of forks must undergo a paired torsion test before leaving the factory to simulate the extreme working conditions of the forklift lifting on a slope with unbalanced load.
