130x60x1200 Blank Forks

130x60x1200 Blank Forks weigh 100kg each. The cross-section is 130 mm wide, 60 mm thick, and the total length is 1.2 meters. This blank fork is specially designed for the core stacking process of large power transformers. It is used as a compression weight to apply uniform pressure during the stacking of silicon steel sheets layer by layer to ensure that there are no gaps between the core segments. The weight of each 100 kilogram unit is calibrated piece by piece on a platform scale, with an error not exceeding plus or minus 0.3 kilograms, and the actual value is marked with a stamp on the end face. The material is made of ordinary carbon structural steel Q235B. The surface is sandblasted and coated with matte epoxy primer to avoid paint film peeling pollution in the dust-free workshop. A set of M16 threaded blind holes are drilled every 200 mm along the length of the fork surface for installing nylon pressure heads or polyurethane pads, which directly contact the surface of the silicon steel sheet without causing scratches. A flat surface is milled out at each end of the fork back, and an M24 screw hole is tapped in the center of the flat surface.

 

 

With special lifting eye bolts, the fork can be lifted to the core stacking platform using a workshop overhead crane. Since the Blank Forks are maintained and no hook grooves are processed, the fork tips and fork backs have flat end surfaces and can be stacked horizontally. The upper and lower layers are locked through the four-corner positioning pins to form a combined counterweight of 200 kg or 300 kg. All edges are chamfered R10 to prevent operator arms from being scratched during transportation. Packaging is in multi-layer solid wood boxes, two per box, lined with shock-absorbing foam. With a single weight of 100 kilograms and a fork-back lifting ring, it can be lifted smoothly using a balance crane in the transformer manufacturing workshop. This specification mainly serves the core stacking station of large transformer manufacturing plants, the reactor pressing process, and the gravity loading system of high voltage test stations.
