The weight of a single 200x60x1800 shaft-mounted fork is 219 kg. The cross-section is 200 mm wide, 60 mm thick, and 1.8 meters long. A 30-degree triangular spline is processed into the inner hole of the shaft sleeve, which is precisely ground with the external spline on the forklift mounting shaft. The interference is 0.04 to 0.06 mm. Torque and axial force are transmitted through the side of the spline without any locking nuts or wedges, completely eliminating vibration loosening. The fork surface is treated with a combination of ion nitriding and low-temperature sulfurization. A 0.2 mm thick Fe2N hardened layer and FeS solid lubricating film are formed on the surface. The hardness is as high as 900HV and the friction coefficient is lower than 0.06. It is not easy to adhere to the oxide scale when pushing the red hot steel billet.
The front edge of the fork tip is overlayed with cobalt-based superalloy, and the working temperature can reach 850 degrees. With the forced air-cooling air duct, it can be directly inserted into the forging blank just out of the furnace for hot transfer. The end of the shaft sleeve is integrated with a mechanical spline wear indicator. When the spline backlash exceeds 0.2 mm, the indicator probe protrudes from the end face, prompting the fork to be replaced. The deflection-load QR code of each fork is laser-engraved on the inside of the fork leg. Scan it with your mobile phone to check the safe load value corresponding to any insertion depth.
The surface is coated with ceramic aluminum powder heat-resistant paint, silver gray to reflect heat radiation. Before leaving the factory, spline crush and thermal shock tests are conducted under 1.4 times the rated load. The fork is adapted to the 4A-level shaft mounting system. During installation, simply push the fork into the shaft end spline to the limit surface. Use a hydraulic puller to assist in disassembly and ejection. The unit weight of 219kg is matched with forged steel lifting lugs at both ends of the shaft sleeve, which can be replaced by a single person using a balance crane. It is specially used for hot die forging press discharging, billet hot feeding and high-temperature alloy forging production lines.
