Metal Twin Slot Shelving is precision rolled and formed from high-quality cold-rolled steel plates. The surface of the column is equipped with double rows of waisted circular slots. The shelves are directly inserted into the slots through special hangers. Assembly and height adjustment can be completed without any bolts or welding. This design not only greatly reduces the dependence on tools and skilled workers for installation, but also allows the shelf to maintain its original accuracy after repeated disassembly and assembly many times. Stiffness tests conducted in accordance with the FEM 10.2.02 standard established by the European Material Handling Association show that when the span is 1,200 mm and a single layer is evenly loaded to the rated load, the maximum deflection of the center of the layer is only one-third of the span, which is less than six millimeters. The residual deformation after unloading is negligible. This feature is particularly important for storing precision injection molded parts or assembly line turnover boxes, because the settlement of the layer caused by long-term loading will directly affect the pick-and-place coordinate accuracy of the automated manipulator.
The standard height of a single group of shelves is two meters and four, equipped with four layers of adjustable shelves. The overall shelf structure is stable and has moderate weight, making it easy to move flexibly in the warehouse area. According to the GB/T 27924 industrial shelf load-bearing test method, under the condition of a single-layer uniformly distributed load of 250 kilograms, there is no obvious indentation or plastic deformation on the contact surface between the column slot and the hanging plate. At the same time, after a horizontal thrust equivalent to 15% of the rated load is applied laterally, the residual tilt angle of the top of the shelf is less than 0.5 degrees, which fully meets the safety margin requirements for daily manual picking and normal operation of hydraulic trucks. In addition, the adjustment spacing every 50 millimeters allows users to freely allocate storage space according to different cargo heights. Whether it is storing small hardware, cartons or medium-sized plastic boxes, it can maximize the utilization of cubic space within a limited floor area, becoming a flexible and sturdy basic storage solution in warehouses and workshops.
