The load-bearing capacity of Heavy Metal Shelf Brackets under long-term cyclic loading is an important indicator of its durability. The fatigue strength of its welded nodes is based on the International Organization for Standardization ISO 10721's regulations on fatigue design of steel structures. When the bracket is subjected to a cyclic load equivalent to 80% of the rated load, the residual deformation of the bracket after 500,000 cyclic loadings is less than 0.2 mm, and no visible cracks or peeling appear in the welds and base metal. Carbon dioxide gas shielded welding is used during the manufacturing process. The welding wire model is ER70S-6 according to the American Welding Society AWS A5.18 standard. The welding leg size is not less than 70% of the plate thickness. According to the requirements of the American Institute of Steel Structure AISC for weld size, this welding leg height ensures that the cross-sectional area of ​​the welding seam is sufficient to transmit the full design load. In the damage test, the welding seam fracture occurs in the base metal rather than the weld bead. The powder coating on the surface of the stent uses a polyester resin system. The coating thickness is measured in accordance with the ASTM D4138 standard of the American Society for Testing and Materials and is not less than 60 microns. It is verified by the falling sand abrasion test. According to the coating impact resistance test method of the American Society of Testing and Materials ASTM D968, the amount of sand required for the coating to wear to the substrate under the impact of 4.5 kg of falling sand is not less than 3,000 liters, showing excellent scratch resistance and impact resistance.

 

 

In terms of thermal expansion adaptability and seismic performance, the oblong mounting holes of the heavy-duty metal shelf brackets are used in conjunction with elastic pads, allowing the brackets to freely slide about 0.3 mm along the wall direction when the ambient temperature changes, to compensate for the relative displacement of 1 mm to 1.5 mm caused by the difference in linear expansion coefficient between the steel structure and the concrete wall, thus avoiding damage to the anchoring system due to restraint stress. The cantilever end of the bracket is equipped with an anti-fall baffle with a height of 20 mm, which can effectively prevent the cylindrical materials stored on the shelf from rolling off due to vibration or accidental collision. After a simulated forklift collision test, the baffle remained upright when subjected to a horizontal thrust equivalent to 30% of the rated load, with a deformation of less than 2 mm. The foot of the bracket is equipped with an integral anchoring bracket, which expands the local load-bearing area to 2.4 times that of the back plate, controlling the maximum compressive stress on the wall surface to within 0.5 MPa, which is far lower than the compressive strength of standard concrete, thus avoiding peeling off the wall surface or loosening of the anchor points caused by long-term heavy loads. These designs make the bracket widely suitable for tool erection in aircraft maintenance hangars, heavy-duty pallet support in port spare parts warehouses, and equipment mezzanines in stadiums and other scenarios that require extremely high safety margins and long-term stability.
