Large Steel Angle Brackets

Large steel angle brackets are made of high-strength carbon structural steel and cut by CNC flame cutting. The plate thickness can be up to eight millimeters. With the precise bending process, the right-angle angle deviation is controlled within plus or minus three degrees, ensuring reliable right-angle connections in the installation of building steel structures and heavy equipment. According to the tensile test standard for metal materials, the measured yield strength of the material used in this corner code is 345 MPa. In the simulated actual load-bearing test, when an equilateral corner code with a side length of 200 mm bears an ultimate static load of 3.5 tons, the permanent deformation in the direction of the right-angle opening is only 0.5 mm, indicating that the product has excellent stiffness retention capabilities under load. Six sets of equal-diameter mounting holes are preset on both arms of the corner code. The hole diameter tolerance is controlled within plus or minus 0.2 mm according to relevant standards. When used in conjunction with M16 high-strength bolts, it can achieve uniform pre-tightening force transmission, avoid uneven bolt shear stress caused by hole position deviation, and provide an accurate and reliable node solution for large steel structure connections.

 

 

The surface of the corner code adopts hot-dip galvanizing process for anti-corrosion treatment. According to the technical specifications of hot-dip galvanizing layer, the average coating thickness is more than 85 microns as measured by a coating thickness gauge. It can withstand 1,200 hours without red rust in the neutral salt spray accelerated corrosion test, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance in industrial atmosphere or outdoor open-air environment. In view of the dynamic load condition, an alternating load with a frequency of eight Hz and an amplitude fluctuation between plus and minus 200 kN was applied to the diagonal code. After 250,000 cyclic loadings, the increment of right-angle deformation of the corner code was only 0.02 mm, and no micro-crack expansion was found in the weld area through magnetic particle inspection, which verified its anti-fatigue characteristics in high-frequency vibration environments. At the same time, the blunt edges of the corner codes are rounded and chamfered to avoid scratches to personnel during installation and transportation. They are suitable for large-scale engineering scenarios that have high requirements for safety and durability, such as bridge support pads, heavy machinery footing fixation, and factory steel structure beam-column joints.
