Black Metal Support Brackets are made of weather-resistant steel. The surface layer can form a stable and dense rust-colored protective layer during exposure to the natural environment. This rust layer is closely combined with the matrix and gradually densifies over time, thus effectively blocking the penetration of corrosive media into the interior. According to the ASTM G101 test method for evaluating the atmospheric corrosion resistance of weathering steel, the relative corrosion rate of this type of steel in an industrial atmospheric environment is only 30% to 40% of that of ordinary carbon steel. Calculated based on a bracket with a thickness of 3.2 mm, it can be used continuously for 25 years in an unpainted state without significant attenuation of structural strength. This self-protection feature allows the bracket to meet the longevity maintenance requirements of outdoor communication pole towers and traffic sign supports without the need for regular painting and maintenance.
The installation system of the black metal support bracket takes into account the fault tolerance and ease of adjustment of on-site construction. The installation holes on the back plate are designed with cross long round holes. The horizontal adjustment amount is plus or minus six millimeters, and the vertical adjustment amount is plus or minus four millimeters. This two-way adjustment mechanism allows the installer to complete the bracket positioning without re-drilling when the wall drilling position deviates. According to on-site installation statistics, the average installation time of brackets using this design is about 38% shorter than that of traditional round hole brackets. The end of the bracket cantilever is equipped with an anti-slip stopper, which is integrated with the main body of the cantilever through continuous welding.
According to the requirements of the AWS D1.1 steel structure welding specification for the welding leg size, the height of the welding leg is not less than 70% of the plate thickness. The weld remains intact when subjected to the ultimate static load equivalent to twice the rated load, and the stopper does not detach or deform. Each edge of the bracket is rounded, and the chamfer radius is not less than one millimeter in accordance with the ISO 13715 standard. This effectively avoids damage to the insulation layer or scratches caused by sharp edge contact during equipment installation or pipeline laying. It provides a safe and durable solution for pipeline support in industrial environments that have special requirements for safety protection, such as power plants and chemical plants.
