100x35x1400 ITA/FEM Forks

The weight of a single 100x35x1400 ITA/FEM fork is 47 kg. The cross-section width is 100 mm, the thickness is 35 mm, and the total length is 1.4 meters. This pair of forks is mainly used to deal with extra-long but moderately heavy goods, such as six-meter-long aluminum alloy profiles, PVC pipe bundles or wind turbine blade webs packed in honeycomb cardboard. The unit weight of 47 kilograms is clearly beyond the safe operation range of a single person, so permanent lifting eye nuts are welded to the roots of the forks, and each pair of forks comes with a balance lifting chain of moderate length from the factory. Since the length exceeds the limit of ordinary heat treatment furnaces, this model uses segmented induction quenching and flame tempering to form three different hardness gradients in the fork tip, middle and hook areas to avoid overall embrittlement of long components. Continuous dot-like protrusions are suppressed on the fork surface, which can prevent slipping and will not snag the film packaging.

 

 

The product strictly follows ITA/FEM standards, and the installation level is still 2A. However, the hook has an additional installation slot for a thickness compensation gasket to facilitate users to eliminate gaps on old forklift slats. Each fork must undergo a lateral loading test before leaving the factory to simulate the inertial force of the forklift when turning to ensure that the offset of the two forks is the same under a length of 1,400 mm. The surface treatment is sandblasting and then coated with a water-based acrylic topcoat, which is easy to polish during repair. This specification is commonly used in panel warehouses for customized furniture, automobile roof rail production lines, and truss yards used in large-scale exhibition construction.
