80x40x1600 ITA/FEM Forks

The 80x40x1600 ITA/FEM fork weighs 49 kilograms individually and is 1.6 meters long. It is an extra-long custom ceiling in the specifications of 80 mm wide and 40 mm thick. This model is mainly designed for scenarios such as wood processing, long stone transportation, and elevator guide rail installation, which require the forks to maintain good straightness when extended to the extreme. The manufacturing adopts precision cold drawing and vibration aging process. First, the internal stress of rolling is eliminated through strong drawing, and then the size is stabilized by high-frequency vibration for 72 hours, so that the lateral bending on the length of 1600 mm does not exceed 1.5 mm. The weight distribution of each 49 kilograms focuses on strengthening the roots, and triangular ribs are added behind the hooks to increase the load-bearing capacity of the maximum bending moment zone by 20%.

 

 

The fork tip heat treatment adopts local cryogenic treatment to form a complex structure of martensite and retained austenite, which is impact-resistant and not easy to crack. The surface is covered with a wear-resistant orange coating to increase friction with the bottom of the pallet and reduce the risk of cargo slippage. The hook interface is compatible with ITA/FEM standards, but additional anti-loosening bolt holes are reserved for users to lock in severe bumpy conditions. The unit weight of 49 kilograms exceeds the safe handling limit for a single person, so each pair of forks comes standard with two lifting eye screw holes, which can be quickly replaced with a simple balance crane. This model is commonly used in four-way forklifts or large side forklifts, and is also suitable for modification as a basic fork body for special turning attachments for long materials.
