Spring steel shim washers use high-quality silicon-manganese spring steel strips that are quenched and tempered at medium temperature to obtain a uniform and fine tempered troostite structure. The hardness is stable in the range of 44 to 48 HRC according to the Rockwell hardness test, ensuring that the washers have excellent anti-indentation capabilities under high-pressure compression. Thickness accuracy is the core indicator of the adjustment function. Taking the 0.5 mm thickness specification as an example, after batch inspection with a digital micrometer, the thickness deviation is strictly controlled within plus or minus 0.008 mm, which is far superior to the tolerance level of ordinary stamped washers. This allows maintenance personnel to flexibly combine a single piece or multiple pieces to control the adjustment accuracy of bearing clearance or gear meshing clearance to the micron level, and precise alignment can be completed without additional machining.

 

 

The elastic compensation performance of this gasket has been outstanding in long-term service. According to the compression elastic modulus test method of metal materials, after withstanding a continuous compressive stress of 300 MPa and maintaining it for one thousand hours, the permanent compressive deformation in the thickness direction of the gasket was only 0.5% of the initial thickness, proving its excellent creep resistance. In a fatigue test simulating the axial vibration loading of rotating machinery, after 200,000 cycles at a frequency of 30 Hz and a stress amplitude of 200 MPa, no fatigue cracks appeared on the surface and edges of the gasket, and the rebound recovery rate remained above 98%, ensuring that it can maintain the set gap parameters for a long time in key parts such as the engine main bearing cap or the precision reducer adjustment ring, effectively extending the equipment accuracy maintenance period. After the surface is phosphated, it provides a stable friction coefficient during assembly, prevents the rotational deviation of the gasket during operation, and provides an accurate and reliable fine-tuning solution for the reliable operation of high-speed equipment.
