Applications
Steel structure bridge node connection
At the nodes of steel structure bridges, Seamless Screw (such as 12.9 level) and high-strength nuts are used to connect the main beam and the support plates of the piers.
During construction, use a hydraulic torque wrench to tighten the screw-nut pair to a pre-tightening torque of more than 5000 Nm, creating a huge pre-tightening force.
This frictional connection can effectively resist the repeated stress of the bridge under vehicle load and wind load, ensure the integration and safety of the structure, and the design life required to reach more than 100 years.
Accessories installation
On automotive engines, accessories such as generators and compressors need to be fixed to the cast iron cylinder block through Seamless Screw. Although the surface of cast iron is hard, it is brittle and uneven.
Adding a flat washer can compensate for the slight unevenness of the surface and disperse the concentrated pressure when the screw is locked (typically 40-60 Nm).
This effectively prevents the cylinder contact surface from being "cheated" by the screw head, and stabilizes the pressure of the contact surface below the safety threshold of 150 MPa, ensuring long-term stability of the connection.
Vibration part of high-power diesel engine
In the tightening of the cylinder head cover or oil pan of a large diesel engine, the violent vibration (vibration acceleration may exceed 20g) caused by the engine to operate easily lead to loosening of ordinary fasteners.
Add a spring washer between the screw and the nut, and use its elastic force to continuously compensate for the reduction in preload due to vibration, minimizing the risk of bolt loosening.
